Let Everybody Praise the Lord by Martyn Lloyd-Jones (Christian Focus)

This slim paperback contains a series of sermons on Psalm 107. Lloyd-Jones vividly expounds the four pictures of sin and its consequences which are drawn for us in it. He does so evangelically, as if addressing people hearing the gospel for the first time. He probes the reader’s experience and direct us to the God who delivers and transforms life. It is a wonderfully uplifting Psalm and Lloyd-Jones captures its mood very well. Plainly and clearly he leads the reader to the climactic conclusion that there is no greater happiness than that of being a real Christian, and that every Christian should be a praising Christian as they have so much to be thankful for.
