The Risen Hope series is a new church history series written for children around 10+ years. The series begins with the Apostle Paul and runs right through to the late 1800’s. Our favourite is the third book called Reform – the Church at the Birth of Protestantism which highlights some of the main characters of the Reformation from 1485 to 1600. The short accounts of each character are written in an engaging fictionalised style and are interspersed with fact files to put them in their historical context. Reform would make a great Sunday School prize.
