John Kay was a little known seceder, a great friend of the more well known seceders William Tiptaft and J C Philpot. First published in 1842 John Kay’s spiritual autobiography ‘The Inward Kingdom of God’ shows him to be a man whose Christian experience had a power and savour. It was reviewed well in the Gospel Standard at the time and was subsequently reprinted in 1860. This edition is a further reprint with some minimal editing.
