Aisha has spent years dreaming about the little girl in the big white house, and she can’t believe her luck when her mother takes her along to clean there one Sunday. Exploring the forbidden upstairs, Aisha discovers a room with four candles, just one of them burning brightly. When she returns a week later, two candles are ablaze. When will all the candles be lit, and what will happen then?
Back in print for the first time in decades, The Secret of the Fourth Candle contains three short stories by Patricia St John.
