There is no more fundamental question for a Christian than this:
‘How can I hear the voice of God?’ Christians are agreed that God’s Word can be found in the Bible. But can it be found elsewhere as well? In particular, does God still continue to send prophets today through whom he speaks to his people? If God still speaks in this way, then his people must not ignore it. But can it be right that the predictions of the modern prophets are frequently wrong? Furthermore, should we expect prophets at all today since God has fully revealed himself through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ?
This book takes us into the world of the modern prophets, and – more importantly – tests their claims against the teaching of the Bible. The conclusions are of great significance for all Bible-believing Christians.
