From poor butchers and brickmakers to bishops, drawn from both young and old, the Reformation saw many men and women called upon to make a stand for the truths presented in the Bible. This little book contains brief accounts of those who preferred to give their lives as martyrs rather than surrender the Bible and it’s doctrines that they loved. Written in the format of an early ‘travel guide’ the text has been updated to include contemporary pictures of the martyrs’ memorials in Kent and details of their locations to aid the interested tourist.
