The New Bible Hymn-Book

This book of 2146 Bible-based hymns is notable not only for the large number of hymns it contains but also for their arrangement in Bible verse order. This has led to the name: The Bible Hymn-Book and it is anticipated that it will prove especially helpful for private Bible study and devotion.

Henry Waters was brought up under the ministry of Stanley Delves who was Pastor at Forest Fold Baptist Chapel, Crowborough, Sussex from 1923 to 1977.

He became aware of the reality of spiritual life and the love of God after reading Tortured for Christ by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, and hearing him preach following release from prison in Romania. He was baptised in 1969.

Since 1975 he has been a member of Providence Baptist Church, Hemlington, Middlesbrough, where he is a deacon. He worked as a General Medical Practitioner as well as in rheumatology, prison medicine and commissioning. He is now retired.
