The Ministry of the Gospel

How is a man to judge whether he has a call to the Christian ministry or not? How are church members to discern between him that is sent and he that seeketh to run unsent? Well, the Word of God must be the sure starting place; but in this little book we have the advice of a gracious minister of the Gospel given to a church in similar straits. Though a long time has passed since the sermon in question was preached, the fundamentals of the call to the ministry, and the Gospel which is to be preached, have not changed. Yet perhaps the contents of this booklet have never been so needed today as they have been ever before.
