John Wesley died on 2nd March 1791, and William Huntington preached this remarkable sermon, in which he contends for the truths of sovereign grace over against the errors of Arminianism, on 13th March that year. Although clearly a controversial discourse, we do here get some idea of the divine power, force of truth, and siritual savour evident in Huntington’s preaching.
