Studies in the Life of Abraham Booth (1734-1806). The core of this book is comprised of talks given at a bicentennial conference at Regent’s Park College, Oxford. Booth lived in the shadow of John Gill and Andrew Fuller (and still does!). However this book seeks to redress the balance a little. Contributors include Sharon James and Kenneth Dix in addition to Michael Haykin. Subjects covered involve his life, anti slave trade efforts, defence of believer’s baptism, prayer, and death.
