The end and design of the death of Christ. John Hurrion (c.1675-1731) was a nonconformist minister who opposed Richard Baxter’s faulty, but influential, views on Redemption. A group of London merchants organised a series of lectures at Lime Street, and Hurrion was chosen to speak on ‘The Scripture Doctrine of Particular Redemption.’ These lectures have been brought together here. A preface by John Elias is included from a Welsh edition of the book.
