The Rev John Tallach was the first white missionary of the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland to labour in Matabeleland among the Ndebeles and Fingos in 1924. As a missionary he did not spare himself working faithfully and lovingly through many difficulties for twenty-two years. During this time the mission work spread and many new preaching stations and schools were opened. A very readable biography written by his daughter.
