The autobiography of John Warburton, pastor at Zion Chapel, Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Born in poverty, but deeply taught his sinfulness in early married life, he was granted a gracious deliverance and led into the ministry in which he was greatly used of God. Though without much of what the world would call education, he was truly ‘taught of God’, and his unvarnished honesty and faithfulness even in describing his own weakness and failings may shock some, but be a help to others who know the same things.
