To a greater or lesser degree the weather affets us every day. It always has done. This is perhaps the reason why there are so many references to the weather in the Bible; it is something we can all relate to. This book simply explains the science (to God’s glory) behind 26 different weather features and considers what the Bible has to say about many of them.
However, the principle content of the book is to record the author’s meditations upon these features as they relate to the Christian life. In particular, this book is intended to be a help to young people who are asking “the way Zion with their faces thitherward.” They may have some familiarity with Biblical doctrines but are not sure how they fit with their own experience and feelings. This book is intended to be of some help. The 26 essays are short and self-contained, so that they can be read at random, although the book is ordered so that closely related aspects of the weather come together.
