Grey Hazlerigg (1818-1912) had all the advantages of high birth. He was educated at Eton College, and joined the army, with the prospect of a successful military career and high rank before him. However, Hazlerigg would spend the greater part of his long life as a faithful soldier of Jesus Christ, and a humble follower of the Lamb. His calling was to be a minister of the Gospel, and Zion Chapel Leicester was the principal scene of his ministry. In this lecture Matthew Hyde gives a succinct account of the spiritual conflicts, and the various trials and troubles, that made Grey Hazlerigg a true and faithful minister of Jesus Christ.
