The letters in this book were written with a young relative in mind and were published originally in The Young People’s Magazine. Margaret Macleod loved children and used the teaching of the Bible to point her readers in the right direction. In these letters she based her teaching on what her readers could relate to – including everyday happenings, incidents from childhood, experiences in her travels, and stories from the past.
