This well-known German Reformed pastor was converted in 1819. He received his education at Bernburg, Halle and Jena. Once ordained to the ministry, he pastored various churches throughout Germany; including a call in 1847 by the king of Prussia to Trinity Church in Berlin and in 1853 was appointed court chaplain at Potsdam. Friedrich Wilhelm Krummacher: An Autobiography gives the account of the author’s life up to the year 1848. The latter years we can gelan from the Supplement and Appendix which includes an address, letters, hymn, poem and last sermon, etc.
