In the Puritan Paperbacks series.
Robert Traill (1642 – 1716) was a distinguished scholar, but far from living in an ivory tower, above all is remembered for his sermons in which he strove to promote practical godliness. He was an exile in Holland for his faith for a time, and it was there that his writings began. He is warm, instructive and encouraging.
This selection of Traill’s writings is an excellent introduction to the two volume edition of his Works, also from the same publisher.
