An attractive book of poetry by a pastor who recognised the value of verse in teaching. Fully illustrated. Norman Perry (1909ÔÇö2004) wrote various books, hymns and poetry in his spare time between ministerial labours. In this extensive selection he shows his keenness for the verse form to be more highly appreciated in teaching the truth. He begins with a humble 'apology' for this approach, immortalised by John Bunyan, and then follows with sufficient poems to fill each week of the year. This book is beautifully presented with many black and white as well as colour photos.
