Autobiography of Robert Flockhart: The Street Preacher (1778-1857). Edited by Thomas Guthrie. This edition is based on the Baker edition of 1977 in small format paperback. Flockhart was a colourful character, converted from his 'mad career' whilst serving in the army in India. This was through the means of William Carey's labours there. He later became a vehement and lively preacher on the streets of Edinburgh, enduring much abuse in the process. This is the tale of a life worth telling.
